Onboarding for IT Team Members
The CADENCE system (Blackbaud CRM) is the fundraising and alumni/donor information system for DAR, CUF, CAA, IPTAY. CADENCE is the system of record for all fundraising activity and includes functionality for managing back-office operations, fundraising and development (both academic and athletic), alumni relations, marketing, online communications, reporting, and event management. Blackbaud Information System (BBIS) is a companion tool to CADENCE and is used for our online giving, some of our mass emails, and is used to house the Development Intranet.

It will also require you to sign the confidentiality statement.

2. Look for policies and procedures in the Documentation Library. You won’t need all the details yet, but you can learn more about what folks do in our systems.

4. Sign up to receive Blackbaud notifications to ensure that we can stay informed and understand why there may be an issue. (For example: BBIS batches not downloading). Steps to Subscribe.
