MANAGING IT TIckets, PROJECTS, & Planning

  • Small projects (ie. Bulk imports, reporting an outage/incident, create/update a list, selection, or query, password resets, offboarding a staff member)
    • Use this Simple Form for CADENCE issues to and an IT member will be assigned to resolve asap based on impact.
    • Use the ServiceNow Form for problems with equipment malfunctions and issues with software other than CADENCE.
  • Medium projects* (ie. new data elements, data clean up, data audit, new report/export)
    • Unpacked by business analysts, broken apart into tasks on a bi-weekly sprints.
    • Depending on impact or effort, forwarded to leadership for prioritization.
  • Large projects* (ie. Vendor Management, redesign of existing reports/automations/module, or change in policy).
    • Prioritized by CTO/Executive Leadership based on the Technology Roadmap (then broken down into medium projects)
    • Leadership is following this workflow for managing IT Projects.
    • To submit a request for a large project, contact your supervisor for the necessary steps. 
  • *Issues that need input from Data Stewards or Data Governance Council are reviewed/approved by the appropriate trustees.
