A shared drive serves as a data storage location that numerous users can access simultaneously.

*CU's Records Retention Schedule:


The H: Drive (or group drive) is a shared drive. Users are granted access to specific directories (folders) by request.
Files placed in the H: Drive are accessible by anyone with access to that directory (folder).


  • Access to the H: Drive is granted during the onboarding process for new employees. Existing employees
    requesting updated access should submit an IT Help Ticket
    with the specific name of the list serve ie. 'RecordsManagement-L'

The U: Drive is not a shared drive and is only accessible by the user alone. Personal files can be stored here and will not be accessible by team members.
